We will go over the basics of 3D printing using Prusa Printers, and take you from digital design in TinkerCAD to a finished printed project.
Come to the Studio at Main to learn about designing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software, using 3D Slicer Software, and printing on a 3D printer. Participants can select a floral, leaf or seasonal image to create their own custom Springtime Coaster online in TinkerCAD. They will be able to print it out on the Studio's 3D printer. All supplies provided. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for kindergarten and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Studio. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
