Let's learn about and be inspired by the works of still-life painter, Jacob Lawrence.
In honor of Black History Month, join us to learn about Jacob Lawrence, the first Black American to be featured in the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York. Together we will discover the history of Jacob Lawrence and the impact his pieces have made on American art. Attendees will have the opportunity to create their own pieces to take home.

The Little Turtle branch was named after Miami chief Little Turtle, who was born near Ft. Wayne. The Little Turtle branch is home to unique circulating collections, including puzzles and games, and the ACPL Seed Library.
