Learn how to use the Studio's Glowforge laser cutter, and create your very own puzzle ring!
In this introductory program, learn how to operate the Glowforge laser cutter in order to create puzzle rings. Puzzle rings are simple tilt puzzles where the goal is to guide small metal balls into holes by tilting the puzzle. This simple project will walk patrons through the whole process of setting up patterns in the Glowforge app, learning the different types of materials that are possible to cut, and sending their projects to the machine. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 4th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Studio. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
