Children and their grownups are invited to join us for a lesson in culture and cooking! In this session, we will be cooking our own jam and hummus from scratch!
Want to teach your child basic cooking skills? Need an easy snack idea? Check out our cooking class specially designed for children and their grownups! Our presenter, Ginger Romero, will guide attendees through creating jam for PB&J sandwiches and hummus for healthy dipping with helpful tips and tricks to get your child involved in the kitchen. Children of all ages are welcome but must attend with a grown-up. Children and their grownups will also learn a bit about Middle Eastern culture and the history of hummus!
Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
