Intro to 3D Scanning

Learn how to use the Studio's Einscan 3D scanner by sculpting and scanning your own creation, and then 3D printing a copy of it!

At the Studio at Main, you can use a 3D scanner to digitize different types of objects! In this introductory program learn how to operate the Einscan 3d scanner. We will create your own miniature sculpture out of air dry clay, scan it, and then 3D print a replica of it using the 3D Model and the Studio's Prusa 3D Printers. Limited to 6 participants. 

This program was designed for 4th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Studio. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program. 

Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
