Come to the library to learn about the discovery of mastodon bones in Northeast Indiana as well as how 3D scanning and printing have been used in archaeological research. Registered attendees for this program will also receive their own 3D-printed version of a mastodon at the end of the presentation. This event is presented in partnership with Purdue Fort Wayne's Library Technology and Digital Initiatives Department. Space is limited to 32 participants.
This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
