Get a taste of how seasonings and spices combine and balance!

What's Cooking programs allow individuals of all cooking experience levels to work side-by-side under the guidance of a librarian to prepare dishes that fit a monthly theme or skill-focus. Books of similar themes will be featured.

Featured recipes for this session may include some (but not all) of these or others. No recipe is guaranteed at any given location, but all will fit the theme of learning to use seasonings and spices:
-Asparagus and Capers
-Pueblan Pork Tacos
-Lowcountry Boil
-Haitian Epis with Soup

So come gain hands-on experience with cooking techniques and new recipes while connecting with others in your community!

This program is intended for adults. Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
