You can use a 3D pen to draw just about anything you can imagine! Learn to draw a 2D design.
You can use a 3D pen to draw just about anything you can imagine! This program introduces you to the world of 3D printing through 3D pen art objects. Using a 3D pen allows you to draw on a flat surface or in mid-air using plastic filament. These drawings create two-or-three-dimensional structures that then solidify and harden. Shadow puppets have been around for centuries. This ancient art form has allowed different cultures to tell their stories in cool and unique ways. In this program, we'll walk you through creating your puppets using 3D Pens. Participants will love how easy they are to make… and have fun creating stories with their shadow puppets! All supplies provided. Limited to 8 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
