Intended for upper elementary children, participants in this program will read the story The Grumpy Pirate by Artemis Roehrig and Corinne Demas, create a fantasy style map that represents different emotions, and discover a treasure of coping skills.
This program is being led by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate from Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana. Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana (MHANI) is an advocacy and education non-profit organization founded in 1954 whose mission it is to promote the mental and emotional health of the community by offering advocacy, education, support services, and hope.
