A lecture for adults of all ages who are interested in learning the basics of photography.
In Photography 101, participants will learn and practice the basics of photography. This program will start with a short lecture on the basics of photography, which will also provide examples of good photography practices in action. A handout will be provided for future reference. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity for participants to practice those basics around the library building, if they wish to do so.
NOTE: Participants will need to bring their personal phone or camera if they would like to practice in the workshop portion of the program, no equipment will be provided!

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
