Come to a family friendly and fun community drum program to learn some new rhythms and connect to the rhythms within you.

Learn some new rhythms in this beginner friendly drum circle with community member, Eva Webb. Drumming is a great way to destress, reduce anxiety, sharpen your focus, and build community.  Try something new and find the rhythm inside that you didn’t know existed.

If you don't have a drum that is fine, some drums will be available to use during the program.

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.

About the library

The New Haven branch received a brand new building in 2004, relocating from its old location on the corner of Ann St. and Main St. The library is surrounded by houses and is within walking distance of four schools. The library houses many of the previous years of the New Haven High School yearbooks and many books and primary resources on New Haven history. Special collection: Board games
