Come to the Studio at Georgetown to learn about designing and uploading designs in Silhouette Studio, and using the Silhouette Cameo4 Plus. Participants will learn about the many different materials that the Silhouette can cut including paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, chipboard, and craft foam. Participants will learn how to design a pop up card in the program Silhouette Studio. You will see how to use this program to get professional results. At the end of the program patrons will get to take home a unique pop up card! Though the basics of the Silhouette machine operation and software are covered in this program, it is highly recommended that patrons have familiarity with computers and electric cutting using a Cricut prior to attending this program. All supplies provided. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 6th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
