An Introductory Virtual Reality Experience!

Celebrate National Poetry Month with a one-of-a-kind Virtual Reality experience.

Come explore virtual reality at Georgetown using virtual reality headsets! This Spring, in celebration of National Poetry Month, the Studio at the Library is providing a unique and immersive poetry experience.  In this guided program participants will engage with poetry in fun new ways and see for themselves that poetry is more than just words on a page. Limited to 12 participants. 

This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.  

Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
