Step back in time to walk with the dinosaurs using the Studios Virtual Reality Headsets!
Come explore virtual reality at your local library using virtual reality headsets! This immersive experience takes you back in time to the Mesozoic Era to walk alongside dinosaurs and discover how fossils are formed. With the help of a library guide, program participants will use VR headsets to explore 360 videos and images. Limited to 16 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service Studio with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
