In this introductory program at the Studio at Georgetown, patrons will learn how to use 3D pens to create an origami-inspired crane. 3D pens use plastic filament, similar to a 3D printer, that you can draw with! This introductory program teaches patrons how to draw in 2D with a 3d pen, and the use the drawn shapes to create a 3d object. All supplies provided. Limited to 8 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
