Come to the Maker Lab at the Georgetown Library to learn about the Glowforge Laser Printer and create a custom jigsaw puzzle.
Using the Maker Lab's Glowforge, participants will create a custom jigsaw puzzle using an image on basswood with the Glowforge Design App. Participants may supply a digital image from a scanned file, or use images found on the internet or via the Glowforge Design App. All supplies provided. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
