Getting out of the Archives and Into the Pubs to Trace Your

Irish Ancestry

Join us for a FREE virtual program on March 14 at 6:30 p.m. ET!

Join us as we get out of the archives and into the pubs to trace our Irish ancestors!

In 2007, a twelve-day trip to Ireland, sparked Elizabeth Watson's passion for genealogy. Since then, she's become a dedicated genealogist, connecting with Irish relatives, writing a genealogy book, and creating two fiction series set in Ireland. Elizabeth purchased and renovated an 1887 schoolhouse in their Coffey ancestors' townland.

With expertise in Irish, Scottish, Canadian, English, and U.S. genealogy, Elizabeth conducts online and on-site research, exploring archives, cemeteries, and ancestral homesteads. They successfully traced their Coffey line back eight generations, overcoming challenges with the help of newfound relations and local historians. Elizabeth loves aiding others in their genealogical quests, breaking down brick walls, and uncovering family histories.
