Many Americans can trace their ancestors to Ulster Scots who lived in northern Ireland and immigrated to the U.S. in the 18th century. This talk does not discuss American records. Instead, it will offer an overview of the records in Northern Ireland pertaining to the Scots-Irish. It will also discuss the strategies for using these records and the problems inherent with this difficult area of genealogical research.  Presented by John D. Beatty, CG.
