Artificial intelligence is opening new possibilities for family history research! Join the Northeast Indiana Jewish Genealogical Society (NEIJGS) and the Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center for the second meeting of our AI Special Interest Group (AI SIG).
Building on our first session, we will continue exploring how artificial intelligence can assist genealogists in their research. Participants will have the opportunity to discover practical AI applications, share experiences, ask questions, and develop new skills they can put to use in their own family history projects.
Each meeting follows our interactive 20/20/20 format: a 20-minute introduction to an AI tool or concept, 20 minutes of group discussion, and 20 minutes of guided hands-on practice. This approach encourages participants to learn from one another while gaining practical experience with emerging technology.
Whether you attended our first meeting or are joining us for the first time, all experience levels are welcome. Bring your questions, research challenges, and curiosity as we continue discovering how AI can become a valuable tool in genealogical research.
No prior AI experience is required. The AI SIG meets virtually on the third Wednesday of each month.
