Are you researching your North Carolina ancestors? Join Katherine Crickmore as she explores the records and resources available to genealogy researchers at the State Archives of North Carolina!
Katherine Crickmore is a reference archivist at the State Archives of North Carolina and has worked within the Public Services Unit there for three years. She works closely with the thousands of historic records housed at the State Archives and regularly gives webinars and in-person talks about how to use the collections for genealogical research. She has also produced various content about researching at the State Archives of NC, including an article that appeared in the Spring 2020 edition of The Charter Newsletter, a digital magazine from the State Archives of North Carolina and the Friends of the Archives, called “Searching for Female Ancestors.” She has also appeared in the ongoing NC Career Exploration series created by the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and hosted on their website.
