Every family has precious moments they want to capture and preserve for the future. What better way to do that then to take a picture! Join us on Tuesday, May 17th at 2:30 p.m. EDT for your chance to ask a professional photographer for tips and tricks to capture those special moments for future generations. Presented by Louis N. Hodges Jr.
Louis N. Hodges Jr. began working as a professional photographer under the guidance of his father in 1976 before taking over as track photographer at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans in 1979. He has worked at racetracks across the country including Arlington Park and Washington Park in Chicago, and in 2014 he was inducted into the Fair Grounds Press Box Hall of Fame. Additionally, Louis served as the principal photographer for the 2016 book The Fair Grounds Through the Lens: Photographs and Memories of Horseracing in New Orleans. Outside of his sports photography work, he has decades of experience shooting weddings and family portraits, but he particularly enjoys capturing those special, candid moments that can preserve the memory of that moment forever.
