The Studio at Main will teach participants how to set up a two-color 3D print project for the Prusa XL. Patrons will create small Jack-O'-Lanterns that will be translucent orange with a green stem; each one will also have a battery-operated tea light that will be inserted into the project after printing. Participation in a Intro to 3D printing program or previous experience with 3D Printers is highly recommended prior to attending this intermediate program. All supplies provided. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
