Personalized Wood Sign

Intermediate Heat Pressing

Already familiar with the Cricut Autopress? Up your skills by learning to design and create a personalized wood sign!

Visit the Studio at Main to learn intermediate heat-pressing techniques! In this program, you will design and create a custom wood sign, either showcasing your name or one of provided graphics! After designing and creating in Cricut Design Space, we'll use the Cricut Maker 4 to cut these designs out on heat transfer vinyl. Finally, we'll finish up by heat pressing the design onto a blank piece of basswood! Participation in an Intro to Electric Cutting program and Intro to Heatpressing, or previous experience with Cricut Makers & Cricut Heatpresses is highly recommended prior to attending this intermediate program. Limited to 10 participants.

This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
