Ever wondered who built a particular old house—or what it might have witnessed over the decades? This program will introduce participants to the basics of property research using deeds, tax records, maps, newspapers, census records, and more. Whether you're a homeowner, history buff, or curious genealogist, you'll learn practical tools for tracing a home's story through primary sources.

Mark Belloni holds a master’s degree in Public History and is the principal researcher at Belloni Research Consulting. He specializes in uncovering the stories of historic homes and preparing nominations to the National Register of Historic Places.
