Intro to Laser Cutting & Engraving

We will teach you the basics of designing in the Glowforge App and get you started on your first laser print using the Studio's Glowforge!

Come to the Studio at Main to learn about using the Glowforge Laser Printer. In this hands-on program, participants will learn how to upload a pre-made design to the Glowforge app and use the laser printer to engrave it onto slate to create an Engraved Dino Fossil replica. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended prior to attending this program. Limited to 10 participants. 

This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
