Revolutionary Cuisine! Visit the library this summer and learn how to prepare some Colonial American dishes.
Celebrate the United States' 250th birthday at the Allen County Public Library by preparing some Colonial Era food. Learn about Amelia Simmons and early American Cookery. Make some gingerbread and "hasty pudding" from scratch using recipes that Colonial Americans would have used, and then wash it down with a tall glass of switchel.
