Join us for some fun sensory excavations! On theme with our summer program, we will be having sensory experiences related to dinosaurs and fossils. Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity. It helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills. Not only that, but it can also help enhance memory and observational skills, understand cause and effect, and encourage creative and independent thinking.

The Woodburn branch is located across the street from a John Deere store, within easy walking distance of the Lutheran Elementary school and the park. The library’s unique hours are specialized to best serve the surrounding town and country-dwellers.
