Come to the library to learn to mend your clothing with an artistic flare!

Visible mending is a form for repairing broken or damaged objects using artistic flare to bring attention to the repair. We will be practicing a form of embroidery to apply a patch to a sample piece of cloth. You can take this knowledge home to repair your own items! This program is intended for adults. Limited to 10 participants

The Shawnee Branch boasts quite a large collection of Spanish language materials. Attention all future cooks and restauranteurs: young children love to "cook" in our play kitchen area.
