Calling all crafty kids and their grown-ups: join us at the library to make unique art journals side-by-side.
This Grown-Up & Me program presents an opportunity for kids and their grown-ups to do an age-appropriate version of the same craft, side-by-side. We will teach the grown-ups (and any adventurous older kids!) a sewn binding technique to create art journals. Meanwhile, we will teach the kids a much easier hole-punched binding method for their art journals. Time permitting, we will decorate the covers and start a few pages to encourage an ongoing art practice! All supplies provided. This program is intended for both children and their grown-ups (parents, grandparents, or other caregivers!) to attend together. It is appropriate for preschoolers and K-12th grade students.
