Let's create a cute penguin plushie!
Learn the process of creating your very own plushie! We will learn the technique of using a running stitch to construct the penguin body. Then gluing felt to make the rest of the penguin body, wings, etc. and embellishing it by adding winter accessories all with felt.
All supplies provided. This program is intended for fourth through sixth grade children (able to cut felt and use a sewing needle as needed) and is limited to 10 participants.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
