Learn advanced 3D printing techniques by printing your own fuzzy teddy bear!
Already familiar with 3d printing? Then come to the Studio at Pontiac and learn how to make things "fuzzy!". Learn advanced tricks in Prusa slicer, including the "fuzzy skin" modifier and print your own Fuzzy teddy bear with the Prusa MK4S 3D Printer! Participation in Intro to 3D Printing or previous familiarity with CAD software and 3D printing is highly recommended prior to attending this program. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
