Intro to 3D Printing

Learn how to 3D print by creating your own pumpkin nightlight!

Come to the Studio at Shawnee to learn about the world of 3D printing! Learn about the process and materials involved in 3D printing, and then create your very own pumpkin nightlight! Learn how to create and modify 3d objects on Tinkercad, discover how to set up your project using PrusaSlicer, and print your project in cool transparent material! Limited to 6 participants

This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.  

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
