The Hive in Children's Services

Grades 4 to 6: Learn how an electrical circuit works and then make a sculpture that lights up!

We'll use conductive dough, insulating clay, LEDs, and batteries to plan and create sculptures that light up. All supplies provided. Registration required.

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.

About the library

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
