Laura is a member of several genealogical societies, including the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society.
With extensive experience and training, Laura has attended a comprehensive range of advanced genealogical courses to hone her expertise. She has presented at various symposiums, sharing her insights with diverse audiences and contributing to the broader genealogical community.
In addition to her private research services, Laura is involved with NOKFinders, a forensic genealogy company that provides research services to locate next of kin in missing person and unclaimed decedent cases. Her work often bridges the gap between history and modern identity, connecting families with their lost stories.
