Susan Kim is a professional genealogist with a special interest in Jewish ancestry in the former region of Galicia, Austria. Susan honed her research and analytical skills while completing a master's degree in epidemiology and during a 30-plus year career as a pediatrician. After retiring from medicine in 2020, she earned a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and now offers genealogical research services through her own business, Susan C. Kim, Family Historian (kimfamilyhistorian.com). Recognizing the importance of preserving history, she is also a Board member for the Sawtooth Interpretive and Historical Association in Stanley, Idaho and a docent at the Ann Frank Memorial in Boise, Idaho.
