Learn how to use the Cricut Auto Press and pre-cut heat press vinyl to create your own custom zippered canvas pouch!
Come to the Maker Lab at the Pontiac Library to learn about using the Lab's Cricut Auto Press. From the cutter to the press, all the steps required to create a unique zipper pouch will be demonstrated. Then, set up your own zipper pouch by layering pre-made heat press vinyl cutouts on a blank and transferring them to your item. All supplies provided. This program is intended for teens and adults. Limited to 10 participants.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.
All technology and machine users must sign a release form. Parents/guardians of minors must co-sign form alongside their child.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
