Grades 6-12: Alphabet Club is a meetup for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies to support each other and have fun. Hang and be yourself! Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their teen.

Macramé is an art form accomplished through decorative knotting techniques. In this program, participants will learn the basics of macramé and apply these techniques to create a beautiful piece of their own! Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their teen.

About the library

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
