Susan VH Fabian is a research and genetic genealogist with Your Genealogy Journey in Smithsburg, Maryland specializing in tackling brick-wall problems and adoption cases using DNA. Her regional expertise is in Maryland State records. She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and is a graduate of several genealogy study groups. She has taken additional coursework in Genetic Genealogy, Forensic Genealogy, Land Records, Writing, Advanced Search Methods, Mid-Atlantic Regional Research, and Teaching.

Susan sits on the executive board of the Maryland Genealogical Society. She is the co-host of the Pima County Genealogical Society DNA SIG. She has taught numerous classes in genealogical research methods and genetic genealogy. She volunteers her time helping those of unknown parentage find their biological families.
