A workshop for adults of all ages who are interested in learning the basics of photography.
In Photography 101, participants will learn and practice the basics of photography. This program will start with a short lecture on the basics of photography, which will also provide examples of good photography practices in action. A handout will also be provided for future reference. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity for participants to practice those basics around the library building.
NOTE: Participants will need to bring their personal phone or camera if they would like to practice in the workshop portion of the program, no equipment will be provided!

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
