Some ornaments are just too good to be used only once a year! Create your own decorative ornament at the Studio at Georgetown that can be hung on special occasions and enjoyed as a coaster year-round. This program teaches the basic operation of using the Glowforge Laser Cutter and Engraver and its design software. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended for attendees for this program. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
