Paint your own 3D printed Dungeons & Dragons miniature! Learn how to use a 3D printer to create awesome miniatures, and then paint a 3D-printed miniature that you can use in your own D&D campaigns.
In this program you will learn the process of 3D printing and then paint your own Dungeons and Dragons miniature. Staff will demonstrate the use and operation of a 3D printer, and the tricks that one can use to 3D print miniatures with amazing results. Once the demonstration is done, the program will move over to the meeting room, where primed-and-ready-to-paint 3D printed miniatures are waiting! At the end of the program you can take your miniature home. All materials and supplies provided. This program is intended for teens and adults. Program participation is limited to 12.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
