Already familiar with laser cutting? Learn how to operate the Glowforge laser cutter by creating a stack of layered outdoor themed engravings!
Already familiar with lasercutting? Come to the Studio at Georgetown to discover how to engrave and cut your own outdoor themed engraving, and set the correct settings and order of operations in the Glowforge App. Patrons will leave with their own custom engraved and cut outdoor themed engraving (either on the day of the program or for pick-up later). Participation in a Intro to Lasercutting Cutting program or previous experience with Glowforge Lasers is highly recommended prior to attending this intermediate program. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
