Grades 6-12: Alphabet Club is a meetup for LGBTQAI+ youth and their allies to support each other & have fun in an affirming environment. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their teen.
Every month Alphabet Club will feature a different speaker, art project, book, or discussion topic. For January: Meet Indiana artist-author Melissa Capriglione whose book, Basil & Oregano, is a teen love story set at PortaBella Magiculinary Academy. Participants will meet a local author, learn about the writing process, and see how diverse representation matters in today’s young adult literary world. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their teen.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
