Millions of years ago, Indiana was home to ancient creatures and plants that we no longer see today. They have left clues to their existence in the rocks and rivers in our area – ACPL will help you to find these lost treasures! This program teaches how to search for and carefully excavate fossils and gemstones and how to identify common types.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
