At the Kentucky Historical Society, family historians will find a variety of materials on Kentucky history, ranging from artifacts to images and manuscripts to recorded oral histories! Join Genealogy Librarian Daniel Ware as he discusses KHS resources including printed biographies and family histories, access to unique genealogical materials, including Bible records, surname collections, cemetery and church records, and others. Daniel Ware, Genealogy Librarian, has had a passion for genealogy, history, and learning for as long as he can remember. He watches historical documentaries and reads non-fiction history books for the fun of it. Daniel has provided customer service to the public for many years and has combined all his skills and passions together as the genealogy librarian here at the Kentucky Historical Society. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History from Georgetown College in 2010 with a minor in history. He then earned his Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky in 2017 and has been a KHS staff member since 2022.
