Do you have ancestors from the ‘Mountain state’ but are unsure how to begin your research? Join senior librarian Kate McKenzie on Tuesday, January 24th and we’ll discuss the best records, resources, and repositories to utilize when beginning your West Virginia genealogy research.
Kate McKenzie holds a B.S. in Library Informatics from Northern Kentucky University. In 2020, she received a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and received her Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University in 2022. Her interests include research in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, as well as research in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
