Join Kathryn Whalen in exploring the genealogical resources available to family historians at the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center of the Davenport Public Library as well as an overview of resources available in the greater Quad Cities region. She will delve into the subject specialties of Special Collections as well as how researchers can access the materials available, in-person and online. She also will provide a brief overview of the services of Special Collections.

Kathryn Whalen is the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Supervisor at the Davenport Public Library. She manages the rich collection of genealogical and local history materials at the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center. She received her Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University.
