Marc Revenson will teach ukulele basics in a 1-hour class. Bring your own ukulele or use one of ours. Registration is required. Class is limited to 20.
Marc Revenson, known as Lil Rev, is an award-winning educator, multi-instrumentalist, author, and entertainer who travels North America & Canada teaching and performing at ukulele festivals, music stories, camps, and clubs. He's known as one of the foremost instructors on strum-hand techniques and his penchant for roots styles including blues, bluegrass, folk and old-time make him one of the busiest instructors in the country.
This program is intended for adults. Register for all programs online at the ACPL Events Page, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling the branch. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and waitlisted registrants:

2. Please arrive prior to the program's start time; registering for a program will not hold your seat after the program's designated start time

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
