Learn about electronics and soldering, and go home with your own Siren!
Come to the Georgetown Library to learn about the basics of electronics and soldering!. This beginning class will introduce you the functions of capacitors, resistors, transistors and microchips as they work together in an integrated circuit. This month, we will use soldering techniques to put together your own personal siren, which if you are successful you can use to annoy your friends, neighbors and family. All supplies provided.
Registration Required: Limited to 10 participants.
This program is intended for tween, teen, and adult ages. Register for all programs on our Events

audience members, and waitlisted registrants:

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
