We'll explore vital records, state censuses and other records that can be found for Iowa.  We'll cover their contents (which can be amazing) and where to find them, especially online thanks to a partnership between the State Archives, FamilySearch and Ancestry. Researchers will agree with a famous movie quote - Is this heaven? No, it's Iowa. Presented by Theresa Liewer. 

Theresa Liewer is a Past President of the Iowa Genealogical Society.  She teaches classes for them on various topics and moderates monthly meetings of the Irish and DNA Special Interest Groups.  Like many other genealogists, she is slightly obsessed and loves introducing others to the joy of family history.
